So How does it work? The azimuth tracker gear drive rotates the PV array on the pole to follow the movement of the sun. The dual axis element moves the array up-and-down to follow the sun as it rises in the morning and down as it sets in the evening.
Wattsun trackers are guided by a patented, optical sun-sensing device, which dramatically outperforms passive tracking systems. Solid state electronic design and positive drive mechanisms insure consistent operation in extreme temperatures and windy conditions.
